International Dance Weekend 2026

Join us for a full weekend of dancing, learning, music, and community at Tapestry's 2026 International Dance Weekend!

Friday, November 6, 6pm - Sunday, November 8, 2pm

We're thrilled to welcome internationally respected teacher and choreographer Andy Taylor, whose four decades of experience in international folk dance, dance education, and cultural traditions have made her a sought-after instructor at workshops and camps across North America. Andy is known for her warm teaching style, deep knowledge of dance traditions, and ability to make dancers of all experience levels feel successful and inspired.

The weekend features several hours of dance instruction spread across Friday evening, Saturday, and Sunday, giving dancers time to learn, absorb, and enjoy a rich selection of international folk dances. Saturday includes a special culture talk and lunch gathering, followed by an evening dance party with live music from award-winning Orkestar Bez Ime. Sunday's review session provides an opportunity to revisit favorite dances and deepen your understanding of the material.

Whether you're a longtime folk dancer or simply curious to explore the music, movement, and traditions of cultures from around the world, International Dance Weekend offers a welcoming and joyful opportunity to dance, learn, and connect.

Early Registration (through August 2) - $90 | Under 18/Student Rate - $70

Regular Registration (August 3-October 25)) - $100  | Under 18/Student Rate - $80

Late Registration (October 26-November 13) - $110 | Under 18/Student Rate - $90

A'la carte options for single sessions will also be available online by October. Both a'la carte and full weekend registration options will be available for walk-ins once the weekend starts.
